”This hotel is a business-class hotel at tourist class prices. The room had a kitchenette with hotplate, refrigerator, microwave and dishwasher. There is a Auchan grocery store in the Meriadeck shopping center, which is ony 1 block away... so avoid the breakfast charges and sleep-in. The Gambetta (Tram B) tram stop is 2 blocks to the east and the Meriadeck (Tram A) tram stop is 3 blocks to the southwest. The shopping district starts just 2 blocks away. ”I spent 6 nigts at Appart'hôtel Victoria Garden in Bordeaux to participate in a course at the university. Facilities at the were fairly new, nice and neat. I could also control the temperature (heating) in my room. Breakfast was good. Staff was helpful, although I had to ask on two consecutive days for a smoke detector to my room as there was only an empty base left on the ceiling. I recommend the hotel to anyone who does not need 24 hour reception service.”
