”There are B&Bs you stay in that feel very corporate and then there are places like this one. It is family owned and operated, and the owners make you feel like family while you are there. They and their two daughters were happy to show you the property they renovated during Covid and worked so hard to turn into a beautiful little part of France. The location is convenient to Carcassonne and there are dining options there. This is located in the country so you'll need to travel into the city...

”We booked last minute since we arrived to Carcassonne earlier than expected. The hostess graciously accepted our booking and made us feel exceedingly welcome. The property is gorgeous, high end, very comfortable, and clean. We felt like welcomed family. The bed and pillows were great. The air conditioning was perfect. The bathroom was well equipped with amenities. I wish we could have stayed longer! The included breakfast was lovingly prepared and ready at the time we chose. It was so much more...

”We spent 2 nights in the hotel to visit Carcassonne. Our room had a large terrace with a terrific view of the walled town up on the hill. The room was a good size with very comforable beds and a modern bathroom. We had a good dinner on the night we arrived, but the wait staff seemed to be harried. Breakfast, 25 Euros, offered a great selection, but the "hot" items like scrambled eggs were all quite cold. The hotel is a short, but very vertical, walk up to the walled town, and quite close to...
