”Staff was wonderful, especially the woman making breakfast for everyone, but the hotel needs some repairs and TLC (not staff's fault). There was no remote control in the room and no way to get one, the in-room coffee maker didn't work, and the sheets and pillows smelled bad like they weren't clean. The lobby restroom was also really dirty. The prepaid breakfast was $17, but when I saw the bill before mentioning I'd paid for breakfast in advance, it was $5-6 less, which didn't seem right. ”I appreciated that our lovely room had an outdoor veranda style seating area directly on the parking lot (which was very quiet & remote across from a country field). This allowed me to drove within a foot of the room entrance which was perfect for my handicapped mother who joined me since she can barely walk. Nice, relaxing stay! ”

”The property itself is stunning. There is a huge lake outside of the hotel that in normal circumstances would give you an amazing view. However, in my case, I booked and paid for an upgraded room with a FULL lake view. Unfortunately, when I went to check-in, I was told that there was a concert in town and the hotel was overbooked. My room was on the 3rd floor and there was a giant tree that fully blocked our view of the lake. When I asked if anything could be done, I was told no, because of the...

”My room smelled bad. Was unable to accommodate with adjoining rooms. No continental breakfast although it was advertised. The beds were comfortable at least, the pillows no so much. Overall it served its purpose as a cheap place to stay close to what we came for.”

”Room was clean and spacious. They were able to accommodate our family plus pet comfortably. However, they did not provide towels in the room. When asked they said we had to wait for housekeeping in the morning and when followed up in the morning, there were no clean towels available. The pool room also did not have towels for swimmers. ”

Be prepared for a knockout breakfast (we learned a secret to those airy scrambled eggs, a dollop of sour cream). The dining room is completely windowed so the farm is always visible.
