There are two creeks contributing to these cascades. Curtis Creek is to the left and York Creek is the cascade on the right. These combine into what is now considered Smith Creek at the base, which is where I am standing for this shot.

Coopers creek is a National wildlife Management area. It offers a campground and campsites along its 10 miles road that connects Blairsville with the west side of the Georgian appalachian mountains. Cooper Creek travels alongside the road the entire way. It is great for trout fishing.
