”We loved the school house! It was close to everything we wanted to see and do. Opening the front door of the school, was like going back in time to my grade school days. We loved the oak floors. Each room has a different theme. I would have loved to seen them! We stayed in room D, the Lake Room. Room B is the Adventure Room and Room C is the Flower Room. They are working on Room A, which will be the Music Room. The beds were comfy, room was very clean! The only thing I would suggest is...taller...

”Words cannot describe how incredibly beautiful and precious this place is. The location is amazing with spectacular views of the bridge and the property of the host, Mary Lynn has the most spectacular flower and train garden. Speaking of the host, Mary Lynn is the most gracious, kind and accommodating person. She made our stay so special and memorable. We came as friends and when we left we felt like family. We loved our stay and cannot wait to make plans for next trip.”

”The property itself was clean but all around the property was filled with a lot of trash all the way down to the lake and all through the parking lot. You can hear through the walls like they're sitting next to you. We had to leave a day early due to a family emergency I sent that to the property owner but never got a response. We traveled over to the lower peninsula over the bridge it was much cleaner and much prettier, way better maintained.”

”What a gem! Thoughtful, stylish and comfortable. The location was in the heart of downtown yet still felt very private. We loved opening the windows and listening to hum of people below. The layout was ideal. There are a lot of entry steps, but we didn't mind as they were wide and there is a railing. We loved how the floorplan flowed with a front and back area. Our girls took the back bedrooms and tended to hang out there and the kitchen area. This gave us a quiet area in the front room....

”We loved our time at Pam and Dave’s Boathouse. This truly is a hidden gem and was the key to our relaxing and fun week in Northern Michigan. The space was perfect for our family of three, including a pack and play, booster seat and blackout shades in the bedrooms to make traveling with an infant easy. The boathouse is steps away from the lake, which made for a relaxing and fun-filled week. We so enjoyed our time here!”
