”Helpful host greeted us on arrival and helped orient us to amenities. Fully equipped kitchen and spacious, comfortable rooms. Convenient to walks, GWR steam railway and lots more. Town offered great choice of eateries and lots to see (Sudeley Castle & beautiful Old St Peter Parish church. Lots to see just strolling round town.”

”We absolutely loved staying in the Captain's Cabin. Bourton on the Water is in a great location for day trips, but we had to pull ourselves away from this adorable and bustling little village. Location of the Captain's Cabin is quiet and peaceful, but just a two minute walk to all that Bourton on the Water has to offer! We loved ending our days cuddling up by the fire and had the best sleep in the charming and comfortable bedroom. ”

”Very central to various places in the Cotswolds but such a joy to return to and to get up in each morning. Everything was there that we needed and I enjoyed the outside space to sit and read a bit and to dry some laundry. So bright and airy, roomy….we just loved Exchange Cottage and would stay there again in a heartbeat.”

”We stayed for 5 nights - Pros: very pleasant contact with host several times, very comfy beds, clean crisp linens, very nice fully equipped kitchen, wonderful water pressure/hot & cold water, surprise welcoming gift of white wine, crackers & the most delicious local Brie. ”Loved the charm of the cottage which is exactly what I was looking for! The kitchen was well equipped although we didn’t prepare any meals there. Nice to have a wood burner in the living room and a fire pit in the yard, although we didn’t make use of those either.”

”Cottage is ideally placed for exploring the Cotswolds, in a very quiet village. It was very comfortable and well equipped kitchen, a few cobwebs, but overall cleanliness was good. The garden was enclosed and great for the dog, the grass was very long, so made it a bit more difficult to clean up after him (would have been perfect if grass was shorter). ”

”Loved the stylish Italian design and the Amalfi Suite layout. It felt luxurious. It was also really centrally located just off thr high street. It was very comfortable. We had a couple of basic cleaning issues, which were not corrected during the stay, which has resulted in us not giving 5⭐️ for everything.”
