”Stayed here for 2 nights in July, was not sure what to expect but the staff were an absolute delight! The rooms were spotless and the amenities were well thought out (we had a fan already provided due to the heat!)
We ate in the attached restaurant - was really tasty.
Whilst they didn't have one of the breakfast options (no avocado either morning despite having a huge morrisons down the road!) the breakfast was tasty and well cooked.
Would definitely recommend if you are staying on the Isle...
”The hotel and gardens are beautiful - immaculate garden perfect for a pre dinner cocktail. Was very impressed with the decor and high standard of furnishings - should be a wedding venue or offer cream teas. We had an amazing dinner - cannot fault the food or drink!! ”

Lots of German and Dutch tourists stopping and a few locals. Not much of a pub vibe as it's all given over to dining but the room were spacious and comfortable.”

”The host was there to great us with a smile. She explained everything and offered us to order breakfast but we had to leave early to catch the ferry. The room was very nice. She was kind enough to order our taxi for the morning as dover doesn't have uber. I wish we had had more time to enjoy the stunning views from the patio. I would definitely stay here again. ”
”We stayed here for just one night whilst we were visiting friends in Herne Bay and we will stay again! It was so convenient, there was parking around the back, and the hosts were lovely. We stayed in Room 3 which was massive! It had a little lounge area, a lovely bathroom and the bedroom area was big as well with plenty of room to get ready. There was also a fan in the room which was appreciated! Breakfast was lovely and the choice was really good. We can’t recommend this place enough. ”
”Stayed on a Friday night as we were at a family do. Perfect for us. Had the twin. Both beds comfortable - one softer than the other. Had everything we needed. There's limited on site parking but wasn't an issue for us as road restrictions finish early evening and there's no restrictions on the Sunday. The owner was attentive and helpful. Information sheet was perfect.

”Nice and cosy inn at a very calm area. We made the booking just minutes before but it was no problem. A warm welcome and delicious dinner. Extra points for using such local ingredients. Also a well equipped bar with a relaxed atmosphere.
Room was clean and had all the needed. Maybe a bit worn out and the bed was quite squeeky. However we had a good night sleep. Delicious breakfast with lots of options. Especially great was the possibility for glutenfree breakfast. We would definately stay here...
