”Peter was very welcoming upon our arrival. The cleanliness is exceptional, and is amongst the best we have ever experienced. Thought has been given to the smallest detail, The interior design, decor and ambiance is outstanding. Dave and Peter serve up a wholesome breakfast treat, which on its own makes us want to return. It is very close to the Goodwood motor racing circuit. This was perfect to enjoy a weekend getaway. For a bed and breakfast, our experience may be likened to a five star hotel....

”Like the name tells, George and Dragon is an inn, not a fancy shining hotel, but it is a very cosy and nice place to stay for a couple of nights. The rooms are tidy and located in a separate building apart from the pub in the backyard, so the pub activities did not disturb our good night sleeps. There's a selection of traditional English style breakfast choices available in the morning which guarantee the calories for the rest of the day. The staff was very friendly and helpful! ”

”Only stayed one night as we were in the area for a funeral. Lovely staff, comfy bed with "proper" duvet, decent shower and great breakfast. Good, central, location.”

”On arrival greeting was disorganised... The room needed some big tlc...bathroom wasnt good.. Breakfast..what can i say..No one to meet us..outside door was open and really cold..so we just sat down..about 10 minutes before anyone acknowledged we were there and that was by a staff member that had just walked in.. Looked at breakfast menu..then was told the wrong menu as we were guests..and then started hoovering around us..”

”Excellently managed room, secondary glazing so absolutely no noises from the road. Slept very well, but i do think a kingsize bed would fit in the room. It could be a slight squeeze, in the main, very comfortable. Shower room absolutely spotless. Breakfast was super. Nicely cooked full english as well as cereals, fruit, yoghurt etc.., not too much on the plate but enough for a full day ahead. Good selection of teas.. A real find as we enjoyed a christmas ball at Goodwood. If we come over this...

”We stayed one night at the hotel. It was easy to find and had a good car park. The staff was friendly and helpful. We got information of restaurants nearby where we could have dinner. It was a 15 minute walk to the nearest restaurants. The room was quite small, but had all we needed. The breakfast was tasty :) ”

”Nice little B&B close to centre of the village and running trails. Lucie sent the access codes to the front door and room making the check-in a breeze. It was a bit chilly during the first night (central heating off at night), but Lucie provided a portable radiator and extra blanket, so the 2nd night was warm and cosy. Very clean room and comfy bed. Also the breakfast was great. ”
