Guddadamane Homestay - Bungalow

Nestled in the midst of a private coffee plantation 24 kms away from Chikmagalur town lies Guddadamane Homestay, surrounded by nature and greenery where fresh air is abundant.

It is a perfect weekend getaway for city habitants who would like to relax and unwind with friends and family in nature.

The property is over 150 years old maintained like it was built back then with some changes to incorporate bathrooms. The thick mud walls still stand strong with a lot of wood work and beams.
The space
Let me give an overview as to how the place is.

As you enter the second gate the bungalow is the biggest building in the property. The yellow painted bungalow stands out in the greenery.

There are about 7 steps to climb at the entrance and you get into the living room, the living room has a lot of wood work and has been maintained even though there were difficulties with the weather.

After the living room you enter another small living space where there is a TV and a couch, also in this room you will find a lot of collectables from 4 generations. The living space leads to the 2 rooms and the attic.

The rooms have one double bed and one single bed, attic has 6 single beds and one tent. Overall 12 to 16 guests can be accommodated.

There is plenty of open green space in and around the property where guests can walk around freely and play in the lawn area.

Guddadamane property can accommodate 18 to 25 people in total. There are 5 rooms and a bungalow. There will be other guests in the property.
Guest access
Guests will have access to part of the bungalow which has a living room, 2 bedrooms and an attic. The other half of the bungalow is occupied by the owners. Guest also has access to the common areas outside the bungalow and the coffee plantation.
Other things to note
Guests who book the bungalow, it is compulsory to take the meal package for all the persons. Our meal package costs Rs.800 per person which includes evening coffee, dinner and breakfast. Please note the charges for the above mentioned package is not included in the booking price. The meal package has to be ordered well in advance.

- There are friendly dogs present at the property.
- Open parking space is available and parking would be at the guests risk.
- Although the property is deemed safe, guests are advised to exercise necessary caution while walking in and around the plantation.
- Other guests will be at the property and we would ask to give them privacy.


House Rules:
- No loud music or shouting is allowed in the property premises after 10 PM
- No pets are allowed in the bungalow.
- Drinking is allowed but only in the designated private areas.
- Smoking is not allowed inside the bungalow. Guest may smoke outdoors.
- Food is to be consumed in the dining room only, consumption of food in the bungalow is not permitted.
- Any breakages or damages will be charged.
- IDs are required for all guests.
