”Parking was easy kinda confusing at first till you walk around to get to know the place but that’s understandable being in a new place ”

”Room not made up completely. The front desk blamed me for not asking for "full service". Even after asking for "full service", the room was still not made up completely. This is apparently a "partial service" only property. Beware.”

”very clean and spacious hotel in an excellent area of downtown Norfolk. All the staff were very kind and courteous. We really enjoyed our stay there.”

”The room walls had mold on them there weren’t any pillowcases on the pillows which were left in a pile on the bed the linen was dirty and the front desk staff was very rude and did not provide good customer service or communication skills ”

”Do not, I repeat DO NOT stay at this property. I had a day trip to Virginia and needed a quick place to stay. When I arrived first red flag were kids playing in the parking lot. Not to say that they can’t play, but it was obvious these kids lived at the property. When I got inside the room, it smelled like cigarettes, the beds were just mattresses on spring frames, pillows were different sizes, bathroom was dirty. Even though the surface of the bed didn’t have any stains, if I had a black light...

”The sheets had not been changed but the bed was made up. Sheets were full of hair and sand. Horrible place. Never another Econo Lodge! ”

”Hotel smelled, room wasnt cleaned competely before i got arrived. There was a hair in my shower, walls had dirt and grim. Hard time sleeping it was loud, people were in and out of the hotel, people yelling the halls, dog barking in the next room until 2am, cars in the parking lot hanging out blaring music, it didn't get quiet until about 2:30am. ”

”For being posted as a 100% smoke free environment, the elevator smelled of smoke, and when getting off the elevator on the 2nd floor you got accosted by the smell of pot. Long term stay tenants sat right outside the rear door smoking so you couldn't get away from it. The cleaning crew tried to adjust by using too much cleaner making the floors sticky”

”Extremely outdated. I felt like I was bamboozled with the pictures. Rust stains all over bathroom floor. Curtains notable dirt on them. The staff members were great. All friendly. However I Wouldn’t stay again. ”

”Was a last minute for this booking, I guess we got the old room instead of a newer room the linen on bed could have been little cleaner was stains all over sheets could not sleep on it had to buy sheets to relax. The towels need to be replaced stains and everything on the towels just not a good experience for me and my family.”

” there was no hot breakfast available neither coffee or hot items like eggs. I want a refund for breakfast not being available. I I had to go get breakfast separately at a restaurant which made my available time limited before my meeting. ”
