”I cant suggest this hotel. My husband and travel a lot for work and pleasure. The Autograph collection of hotels usually provides a higher level of customer service and a bit of luxury. Sorry to say, the Glass Light in Norfolk is not it. The woman at the desk during checkin was unfriendly and when she assigned us to a second floor room, I asked the chances for one on a higher floor. She immediately got defensive and said the other rooms were not clean yet. When I asked if they would be ready...

”The room was clean and spacious. The fitness center had 3 pieces of high end cardio equipment, no real weights. Unfortunately the breakfast was not suitable for a diabetic or anyone monitoring their sugar intake . We had an efficiency room that was not stocked with ANY utensils or cooking apparatus. ”

”I cannot tell you how scary this place was. Literally, there were drug dealers and addicts swarming the campus from the time I checked in, to 1 am when I returned from my business engagement. If I were you, I would not list this hotel on your site. I had to step over addicts passed out on the steps and was being watched by multiple people, not guests, whenever I got into and out of my vehicle. It was mortifying. ”

”Comforter had cigarette holes in it. Random people would knock on my door during the night and day. I will NEVER stay there again. Didn’t feel safe. ”

”The room walls had mold on them there weren’t any pillowcases on the pillows which were left in a pile on the bed the linen was dirty and the front desk staff was very rude and did not provide good customer service or communication skills ”

”DO Not stay here!! I should have listened to my gut and heeded the red flags everywhere. The carpet's are worn and filthy. There are no working amenities. There were things left in the room from a previous guest. There was rust and exposed wires in the fridge. We left after one night and couldn't get a refund 😡”

”The hotel was fairly affordable, space is clean and decent. Good point is that thus location has fast WiFi. However, the room I lived in has no refrigerator or microwave. Overall, a great stay for 4 days. ”
