  • Viehättävä huoneisto vesinäköalalla edessä ja takana kannella pöytä ja tuolit. Täysin varusteltu keittiö, johon kuuluu mikroaaltouuni, liesi, jääkaappi, kahvinkeitin, leivänpaahdin, kattilat ja pannut, astiat / tarjoilutarvikkeet ja välineet. Muita mukavuuksia ovat keskuslämmitys / lämmitys, ilmainen WiFi, 2 T. V. 's, ulkogrilli ja liinavaatteet sisäänkirjautumisen yhteydessä. Condo sijaitsee puoli kilometrin päässä kaupoista ja ravintoloista Historic Main Street -alueella. Huoneisto on kadun toisella puolella Waterside Inn -hotellista, jossa paikan päällä oleva manager ja check-in sijaitsevat. Hyödynnät kaikki hotellitilat Sunset Hill Condo -hotellissa vierailusi aikana. Hotellissa on kausiluonteinen lämmitetty uima-allas uima-altaalla, yksityinen kalastus- ja etenevä laituri, venesatama, venevaunujen pysäköinti, kuntosali ja poreallas, yksityinen tenniskenttä ja ilmainen kuuma aamiainen päivittäin. Sunset Hill -huoneistoihin ei pääse pyörätuolia, kaikki yksiköt ovat savuttomia, ja olemme tyytyväisiä lyhytaikaisiin tai pitkäaikaisiin vuokrakohteisiin. Olemme sijaitsee 3 mailin päässä sisäänkäynnistä Chincoteague National Wildlife Refuge -alueelle, jossa ponit juoksevat ilmaiseksi. Tarjoamme upeat näkymät auringonlaskuun, 4. heinäkuuta pidetyille ilotulitteille ja Wallopsin lentokeskuksesta lähteville raketteille. Great location and amenities

Property had access to a great swimming pool overlooking the bay and also a private fishing/crabbing pier. Walking distance to restaurants, shops, and grocery store. We loved it!

Very convenient condo for our family of 5

We enjoyed the location right across the street from the bay and private pier for the hotel. The condo was perfect for our family and well equipped. The pool across the street at the hotel was right by the water and lovely! We had a great time on the island and the close proximity to Asseteague Island was helpful! I would choose to stay here again if we would return to the area!

Great condo

Clean. The bed was way more comfortable then my bed at home. Kitchen was well stocked for cooking. Breakfast at the hotel across the street was provided and was good. All the staff were friendly and helpful. It was a fun time.

Very nice stayed an extra day.

Very nice but make sure if your handicapped you ask for the bottom floor cottages. The first night we had to hike up 2 major flights of stairs but was rectified after the first night. Very accommodating host.

Great location

This condo had lots of room and was a cozy space for the two of us. There were two outdoor spaces to enjoy although neither had overhangs for sun or rain protection. The location was great and easy walking distance to the charming downtown. We were upstairs and the only entrance was through the back so we did not have access to the engaging front of the house. Check-in was through the motel across the street and the employees were extremely pleasant and helpful. While our condo was comfy and well equipped, a little updating would take it from a 4 to a 5. We would definitely stay there again!

Nice place. Quite atmosphere.

I loved the location and how quite it was considering there were 4 units. Nice rooms, clean linens & towels. Comfy beds. Check in was a breeze. The manager was very kind and helpful. Having use of hotel pool, dock and laundry were a big plus. Just a small inconvenience concerning cleanliness. The cooking supplies & utensils we’re thrown in cabinets & drawers haphazardly. I felt I needed to wash these items before I used them because some were sticky or were visibly dirty. All in all, our family really enjoyed our stay.

Wonderful stay!

My family booked a stay at the Whealton House for four days. We had such a great experience that we added an extra day! The condo was perfect for our family of four. It was very clean. The amount of space was just right, with spacious bedrooms, and a fully equipped kitchen. Everything was in good working order, updated and comfortable, especially the beds. The locations was fantastic, directly across the street from the bay and within easy access of stores and activities. We enjoyed the use of the hotel pool and docks, and the hotel staff was helpful and accommodating. We would absolutely stay here again and recommend it without hesitation!

The stay was perfect!

The place was just what we needed! Short drive to the beach with plenty of places to stop and eat on the way there and back. We walked downtown a few times as well. The pool was amazing and a beautiful location. The on-site grill was perfect and we used it 3/4 nights. All other tenants were great. Was a little confused as to where to go when checking in, may want to add that to the email that says “here are your keys” that you have to go across the street to get them. Also, the staff across the street was not exactly friendly. Maybe that’s just how locals are there? We experienced the same thing at a deli shop as well. Not sure, but everything else was great!

Out Dated

Place was fine, but out dated, not very comfortable furniture (ie very old), TV not smart TV's, which is fine with lots of cable choices, but would be nice to be able, in this day and age, be able to stream, TV's are not that expensive. Toaster oven needs to go, very hard to use, and easy to forget to shut off, very dated. Also, there is no linen exchange during stay, which I get, but 3 towels for 3 people for 7 nights, won't cut it. Was fine for price, but I would not be happy paying what they are asking for summer dates. Would not stay again, unless there was some updates.

Waterside Inn condos

this was a good apt/condo for my granddaughters and myself. Location was terrific, right in the village allowing us to walk to shops and resturants. Ceiling fans wobble and are loud. Small kitchen appliances were not working. Bring your own blender and toaster. Otherwise very comfortable, beds were incredible, beautiful property. We would considering staying here again.

Pretty Ok Condo with Hotel Vibes

Based on the description, we did not know this was basically part of a hotel. When we arrived, we realized this and it showed (e.g. front desk check-in, tiny towels, tiny soaps, etc.) There were some benefits to being attached to a hotel, such as access to their pool (although hot tub closed due to covid) and the recommendations of the front desk staff. The positives of this property are that it was neat, the kitchen was well-stocked with cooking implements (although bring your own oil, spices, etc.), and the outdoor deck, balcony, and sunroom were great additions. Some things were not as ideal. The sheets had hair on them when we arrived and after we asked for new sheets, the second set also had hairs on them. When we checked out and expressed that both sets of sheets were unclean, the front desk staff member was unconcerned and dismissive. Additionally, small touches were missing: when we arrived, the toilet paper roll from the previous guest was still on the dispenser and there was no soap in the bathroom - we found bars in the drawer but there was no soap dish for them. Overall we had a great time in Chincoteague and having this condo as our launch point into town and the beach was very helpful.

Great getaway

We really enjoyed our stay at this lovely condo. Great location and plenty of space. We especially enjoyed the pool and sitting on the terrace overlooking the channel. We will definitely return.

Great get away!

We had an amazing experience here. The condo is very clean, spacious, and is located in a great area of the town. There is only one shower (1.5 baths total) so you would have to factor that into your day. Otherwise it's suits a family of 4-5. 6 may be a stretch with there only being one shower??? BUT!! all and all a great place!!

Sunset Hills Condos

Terrific accommodations. Ample seating on front and back porches. Tennis courts were overgrown and mature. We tried to play but the cracks and weeds growing in it made the game a little unfair. No biggie - so much more to do! Fully stocked kitchen. Two bedroom with two DOUBLES in each. Pool was lovely. Very helpful front desk. Breakfast is no longer included. Previous reviews comment on the breakfast, but that’s not part of the stay in the condos any longer...so we found out. Bring extras: toilet paper, paper towels, trash bags, soap & sponge, dish towel. Will need to wash dishes before leaving. Lots of pillows, which was so great!. The roses around the house were incredible. So beautiful and impeccably maintained. Would absolutely return again! Thank you for having us!

Weekend get away

The property is located at the end of the historic main street and kind of on the outskirts. This is fine if you want to be further away from the hotspots. The layout of the condo was a little strange in that the main bathroom was in the living room. The place is very dated. The ceiling fans cannot be any higher than the first setting or the shake really badly and make a horrible sound. It was our first visit to the Island and all considered, it was fine.

A bit crowded but otherwise very nice.

Great to have use of Waterside Inn pool and breakfast. Unit very nice with parking, terraces, quiet. Need to bring own beach towels for pool and of course beach chairs for Assateague. Easy walk to historical center but best to use car for dining outside of it. Small Island so everything close,. Inn reception very cordial and helpful. Only issue was : bedroom with 2 queen beds was very cramped and no closet or hooks to hang clothing. Master bedroom spacious with closet. A bit tight for 5, especially with one shower. Good value though, and great area to visit.

Best vacation ever

Best vacation ever according to our 7 year old. She loved it and so did the whole family. Pool was great.

Perfect!

My friends and I had the most wonderful time on Chincoteague Island. The location of this property was perfect! We had many great recommendations for things to do and locations to eat from the hotel across the street and people we just talked with. We took advantage of those suggestions and loved everyone of them. We rented bikes, took Daisy's boat tour, ate dinner at AJ's, shopped on Main Street and ate lunch at the Sea Star. We enjoyed our meals and had fun touring the island by boat and bike. Also found out about the trolley for only .25 cents. Can't beat that. Thanks the perfect get away!!

Besondere Unterkunft mit netten Annehmlichkeiten

Bereits bei der Ankunft waren wir sehr angetan von dem schönen viktorianischen Haus und der Möglichkeit sowohl vorne als auch hinten auf der Veranda sitzen zu können. Es war ein schönes Erlebnis in diesem schnuckeligen Häuschen wohnen zu können und dennoch einige Hotel-Annehmlichkeiten zu haben. Eingecheckt wurde im Hotel gegenüber und wir wurden sehr freundlich empfangen. Die Ausstattung im Haus ist einfach, aber es war alles was wir für die Tage vor Ort benötigt haben. Gekocht haben wir vor Ort nicht, daher können wir zum Kochzubehör nicht genau sagen, ob die vorhandenen Dinge ausreichend sind - für einfache Mahlzeiten ist aber alles vorhanden. Ein paar verschließbare (Tupper-)dosen wären schön gewesen. Sehr angenehm war, dass ein Frühstück inkludiert war, welches man ebenfalls im Hotel nebenan einnehmen konnte. Es ist platzmäßig zwar recht beengt, wir haben daher mehrmals eine der beiden Picknickbänke im Außenbereich genutzt, was dann sehr angenehm war. Den Pool im Außenbereich konnten wir ebenfalls mitbenutzen. Auch den Whirlpool im Innenbereich hätten wir nutzen dürfen, wozu wir leider jedoch nicht gekommen sind. Wir hatten das Glück, dass nur unser Apartment im unteren Bereich des Hauses sowie das nebenanliegende Apartment bewohnt war und wir sehr nette Nachbarn hatten. Am letzten Abend wurden die oberen Wohnungen noch von Familien bezogen. Dadurch haben wir erst gemerkt, dass alles sehr hellhörig ist - wir waren noch wach, mit früh schlafenden Kindern ist es evtl. etwas störend, wenn im oberen Apartment spät abends noch "leben" herrscht. Insgesamt waren wir aber sehr zufrieden mit unserem Aufenthalt. Man ist schnell zu Fuß bei den ersten Geschäften und Restaurants und mit dem Auto zügig im Chincoteague Wildlife Refuge. Auch das Visitor Center der NASA in Wallops ist zügig erreicht. Unbedingt zu empfehlen ist die Island Creamery mit super leckerem Eis!

Perfect location!

We loved the condo! We enjoyed the breakfast every day and being able to use the pool that overlooks the water! We were a short walk from many stores and restaurants. We will definitely be back!

Great location ! Having access to pool , breakfast, gym etc. was a plus !

Overall experience was great ! I would suggest changing breakfast menu from day to day. Our condo unit needed an upgrade in cooking items. Most of them have seen their better day ! Thanks for a great time !

Island life

Brought my family and parents to stay on island for my nephews graduation. It was Memorial day weekend and the island was busier than normal. You won't know it by the way the stay welcomed and greeted you every time!!! Amazing staff and facilities. Convenience of the amenities at the Inn across the street was very nice (pool, continental breakfast, ice, etc).Would go back to same place on my next visit.
