”Felt like home immediately. Very cosy. The books everywhere, Shakespeare's buste...funny typical English weird dog lamp. Bathroom to die for. Bedrooms gorgeous. Did not see the ferret. And Fairford itself is a gem. Having read many books about the English Tudor times this was perfect as a place to stay and visit Highclere castle, Jeremy's farm and other lovely things and places in the beautiful surrounding countryside.”

”A really lovely house in a beautiful peaceful location. Comfortable ( especially the beds) and cosy. So nice to be able to go for walks straight from the front door and an ideal spot for visiting Avebury and other ancient sites in the area. The owner was friendly and helpful. Would love to return.”
