”Carmel Valley Lodge was amazing! There are so many positive things to comment on! The outdoor life size games like Chess, Connect 4, Jenga were super cool! The pool area was beautiful and quiet - I loved the loungers, the hot tub, the fire pit. My room also had a partially closed off front porch which I enjoyed sitting out there drinking coffee, listening to the birds. There aren't enough words to describe the greatness of the staff - from the greeting when I entered to the small talk about tv...

”Room didn’t have body wash and was not able to get a refill. Room didn’t get cleaned either for our 2 night stay. Place is a little old so there are some chipped paints but some corners were dirty and was not cleaned properly as well as the curtains have stains. Shower unable to change water pressure setting and the sink faucet is loose.”

”Stayed one night during a roadtrip. Room was nice and clean but rather noisy due to the location next to a big street. No restaurants nor shops around walking distance. No coffee maker/microwave in the room.”

”Well the signs for the entrance was confusing and not properly laid out. The gate for where we stayed needs to be fixed but still closed and lastly I don’t mind being naked at all using the tub in front of the room’s outdoor patio at the entrance of the room; other guests who are shy probably won’t use it?”

”Good place to spend a night. Bed was nice and shower clean. At night we noticed that the door wouldn't lock and had to change room. Otherwise everything went well.”
