”Great place to stay in heart of Christchurch, overlooking the cathedral. The renovations are beautiful, giving a relaxing, arty vibe in which to relax, with a high standard of decor. Staff are fantastic, very friendly whilst professional, and made all guests feel really welcome. Great welcome on arrival, friendly, pleasant and helpful. All seemed to enjoy working there! It could do with some sofas/easy chairs for guests to relax in apart from the bar, ‘cafe’, or restaurant areas, but this didn’t...

”Spotless. Resupply of milk, cookies and other water! Food fabulous! Just a tad noisy it carries, with bar, restaurant all the one room, no carpet but in the summer I am sure with doors open that would soon be fixed.”

”Great place to stay. All staff were welcoming and friendly. Very dog friendly and comfortable. A few dog rules but nothing out of ordinary - Easy to abide by. Car park to rear. Some wall/ floor areas in the place were knocked and marked but its a bar/restaurant so some wear and tear is expected from customer...

”Room was ok, bed very comfortable and clean. Internet was ok, but you only get 30 mins free per day. Seems very odd to limit this or extend for payment in this day and age when paying over 100 per night for a simple room. ”
