”Lovely setting, great welcome, food superb, staff friendly and helpful We had the suite (kingfisher) which was an excellent room except for a radiator being stuck on in the bathroom. The lady in charge (lovely lass) managed to get it sorted as the outside temp was up in the 30’s!!! If I have any criticism of the room, a little use of bleach would have gone a long way but please don’t let that put you off. The place is very very good. ”Mukava vanhan ajan majatalo, joka sopi sijainniltaan hyvin yöpymispaikaksi matkalla kanaalisaarille (n. 10 min kävelyn päässä Poolen satamasta). Huoneessa ei muuta moittimista kuin vanhanaikaiset ikkunat, joiden äänieristys oli olematon ja jo loppukesän yönä huone oli melko viileä. Korvatulpat takasivat silti rauhalliset unet. Aamupala hyvä brittiaamiainen ja henkilökunta niin respassa kuin aamupalalla oli kohteliasta.”

”We recently stayed at The Fighting Cocks and overall had a really enjoyable stay. The staff were absolutely excellent – friendly, attentive and genuinely helpful. Nothing seemed too much trouble, and they did everything they could to make our stay a good one. Our room was a good size and spotlessly clean. The only real downside was the heat – the rooms were unbearably hot, which made sleeping difficult. Unfortunately, the cattle grid directly outside the hotel also meant that every passing...

Our room was very clean and of a high standard . There was a good selection for breakfast to suit all tastes. We had a very enjoyable stay at the Mayflower hotel.”
