”The Country Cottage was just perfect for us and our dogs. It is ideally located to serve as a launching point to enjoy the endless hiking options and activities in the area and the AT is in the backyard! The hosts are so nice and gracious and the incredibly clean cottage has everything you need and more. The grounds are beautiful and extremely quiet. Between the peacefulness, beauty and super comfortable bed, it was the best sleep we had in a long time. Cannot wait to return! ”

”Super clean and comfortable house in the country. Very quiet and peaceful sitting on the front porch with only a few cars and some farm equipment going by the house once in a while and yes, everybody waved as they drove by! Not many restaurants around for dinner so we did eat in one night.”

”Rose Cottage was perfect and a delightful place to stay with dogs. The house had everything we needed and was so organized and welcoming that we were quick to feel at home. Jessie was so kind when we met. The fire pit and axe throwing down by the creek was so refreshing and the dogs were wild about running about in the huge fenced in section of the yard. We also enjoyed the deck. We're eager to come back when visiting our family and hometown again soon. ”

”Lovely place to stay near Blacksburg a short 20 minute drive. We brought our dogs and ourselves down to move my brother-in-law and it was perfect. The space is beautiful and the bed is very comfortable.”

”We absolutely adored this place. The owners go above and beyond to make sure your stay is fantastic. Anytime I had a question I was answered at lightning speed. The home was 100% magnificent. Every room was clean. They had perfect directions printed out for the surrounding area and how to take care of their place. I would have to say this is in my top 3 most favorite properties I have ever been to. ”

”Cute as a button. Traveled with our 3 adult ish kids and had plenty of space to spread out and enjoy this beautiful area of Virginia. Suzanne is a wonderful host who has thought of every detail in the space. The horses in the back pasture are perfect view for starting and ending the day.”

”What a lovely place! The location felt very private, and we brought our beagle so she loved every second of the fenced in yard and front porch. Coffee with her in the morning was perfect. We were here to bring our daughter for her 2nd year at Radford so of course, we loved the flag! Go Highlanders! I cooked dinner both nights and had everything g I needed each night. And our daughters (our 11 yo came too!) loved the sleep arrangements on your 2nd floor! My husband caught about a dozen small...
