”The staff were, friendly, helpful and willing. The place itself was spotlessly clean, both my room and the facilities. It is within an easy walk of the train and bus stations as well as Kawaguchiko Lakeside. I couldn't have asked for better accommodation, would definitely stay there again.”

”The guesthouse is lovely and if you are lucky you may see the mount Fuji from all the clouds. The walk to the lake is nice, through some small streets and plantations. It is quite remote in the sense that often you have to take a train, bus and a taxi to get to the guesthouse. So plan for the long travel. There was no pick-up service offered and when leaving we got a ride because another family had a baby with them, but then it had to be on their schedule. ”

”Nice spot for a short stay. No kitchen really, but there is a shared fridge and microwave. Right next to a school where loud kids play baseball into the late evening so if you’re an early sleeper might not be the best retreat. Really convenient for the bikes. The bedding is thin so if you’re used to a fluffy bed, not your cup of tea. The men only have one very small bathroom area (the women’s is much larger and nicer), but the shower is hot and powerful. Overall a nice, simple stay with perfect...

”Our junior suite was amazing. We had locals sweets everyday in our room with explanation about the local ingredients. We had a beautiful view of the river and city and eat good & well balanced breakfast. The staff was very polite & gave us excellent service. Thank you so much! We enjoyed our stay!”

”The stay is like something our of a fairytale! You can see the views of the mountains, lake and the tori gates. The property is right by the water. It has the most up to date amenities! Including your own footbath out doors and a full private onsen that opens up to the views! 10/10 can not recommend this place enough! It was literally the most transformative part of our trip to Japan. ”

”100% perfect view of Fuji-san!! Short walk from Kawaguchiko Station and the route is generally flat and well lit at night. The property was very modern and minimalist. Room was clean but had some drain flies in the toilet. Very spacious and can easily fit four adults and luggage. Walls were not very sound-proof but was still acceptable. ”
