”This is a great weekday value as you can often stay for under $240 a night. Weekend can run $400-$500. That is not worth it to be honest. Breakfast is very continental but decent. Room is very large and bathroom is excellent with great water pressure in the shower. The inn manager Caroline is awesome. ”

”The only downside to my stay was that the pool is not open to everyone; when traveling as a family with children, this really falls short of what one would expect from a resort of this caliber. Furthermore, entertainment options for minors within the resort are virtually non-existent—unlike at comparable resorts in Las Vegas, for instance. It is definitely necessary for them to make this clear before reservations are made, so that guests could consider other available options in the area.”

”Nicely located with friendly and polite staff. I paid for a city view room with a view of the court roof and a tree. I was at the property very early by 4 hours and not withstanding my request to check in early, my room with the worst view was not available til after the check in time of 4pm. I had to request that the bedroom sheets be replaced as they appeared to be stained or dirty. This was promptly done though. Finally, the room coffee maker did not work properly and the signature wine...

”Loved this place. Room was spacious and relaxing. As there was a couch and alcove that was curtained off so no clutter in the room. As check in is online the only staff we saw was a woman sweeping up the leaves in front of the rooms. She was very helpful and friendly.”

”It was a pleasure staying at this hotel. The town itself is super cute, but the hotel is even more charming. There’s a cozy fireplace in the lobby and outdoors, plus a lovely garden with fountains and roses. The room was spacious, the bed comfortable, and parking very convenient. Thank you, Wine Valley Inn, for your wonderful hospitality. Tip for travelers: plan your drive to or from Santa Barbara during the daytime so you can enjoy the lake views and stop at the CachumaMuseum ”
