”The staff at the front desk didn’t tell us we had to use two elevators to get to our room. Frustrating figuring out on your own. Unless you want to hang by the pool, there is absolutely nothing to do at this hotel. There is no nearby town to walk around , only the hotel surrounded by beautiful wine country. Also it’s a harrowing mountainous drive to get to this hotel. The roads are barely wide enough for a small SUV.”

”LBV did not disappoint. It was very close to all the vineyards we wanted to visit. The pool was very refreshing at the end of the day. The rooms are very comfortable and spectacular views. The shower pressure was also great. The breakfast buffet was very varied and delicious. Even had gluten free bread upon request. I would highly recommend staying here.”

”We had a wonderful stay here! The location is convenient for winery hopping in the Douro Valley and the view into the valley is spectacular. It is very near a little town (Armamar) that had several delicious restaurants. The breakfast buffet was excellent, and the staff were all extremely friendly and helpful. We highly recommend their wine tasting with the cheese/charcuterie platter accompaniment - it was the perfect way to start our stay in the Douro when we checked in!”

”Superbe emplacement avec une vue imprenable sur le Douro — tout simplement magnifique. Les chambres ainsi que les espaces partagés sont immaculés. On a vraiment l’impression d’être dans un petit B&B chaleureux plutôt que dans un grand hôtel, ce qui rend l’expérience très conviviale et reposante. L’endroit est aussi très bien situé, à environ 15 minutes en voiture de Peso da Régua, où l’on trouve plusieurs excellents petits restaurants. Petit point à considérer : notre chambre avait une salle...

”Everything was amazing. Staff was cooperative. View was fantastic. Rooms were clean. Restaurant was great. Very nice food. Only one draw back was Expedia did not mentioned in room description that there were 80 + steps to climb to go to family rooms. But staff helped us go up and down in golf cart which they said they do not do normally. I would come again for view and great service they provided. My therapeutical massage was cherry on top. Overall great experience. Relaxed and enjoyed this...

”Hotelli on syrjässä, mutta aivan ihanalla paikalla. Taksi hotelille maksaa n.15€ Pinhaon juna-asemalta. Kävelimme hotellilta kaupunkiin upeassa maisemassa. Hotellin lähellä ei ole palveluja eli kaikki juomat ja päivällinen on nautittava hotelissa tai lähdettävä kaupunkiin. Hotellin päivällinen ei valitettavasti ollut kovin hyvä, joten toisena iltana söimme Pinhaossa. Viinin maistiaiaset ja pieni kierros kannattaa pyytää, hinta 15€.”

”Stayed three nights in deluxe cabin with beautiful view over wine yards and old village. Really peaceful place with reach to good walks and wine tastings. Breakfast,even on northern countries standards was excellent with a lot of fresh fruit.”
