”Convenient for a pub and brewery tour of Burton. Building tired and quirky but room clean and comfortable bed. Only room and self catering possible, but town is close. ”

”Room was well kept, bathroom was spotless and can’t fault the hotel at all. ”

”Room amenities are appalling and we had to pay extra for parking which was not advertised. Breakfast offering was a disgrace. I had booked to stay at an Ibis at a future date but cancelled and found an alternative on the basis of this visit. Will never book Ibis Budget again.”

”Rummet var av relativt enkel standard, men rent och hade sköna sängar. Hörde ingen trafik, eller andra störande ljud. Den hade allt, förutom en toalettborste. Frukosten var bra. Man fick beställa den varma maten, vilket gör att den inte står i rumstemperatur. Det tog ca 10-15 minuter att få maten serverad och då var vi där under en helg med mycket folk. Medans fixade vi kaffe, rostade mackor och åt av den kontinentala buffén. Trevlig personal också, så vi kan absolut tänka oss att bo här igen...

”The room was very noisy due to the central heating phasing in and out all night. Part of the mechanism was immediately behind the headboard and made very loud knocking noises all night.”

”This used to be one of the top hotels in the area. Now it's in desperate need of a refurb. All the staff were great. I remember coming here in the early 90's and it's not seen a lick of paint since. Don't get me wrong for £50 for the night being able to use the pool hot tub and sauna it's good value. Would love to see a company take it over and bring it back to it's former glory. Bed was very comfortable and hot water. We didn't eat so cannot comment on the food ”

”I go away with work most weeks and this has to be up there with one of the best places I have stayed in. Would love to come back in the summer. I’ve now booked up for my third successive week. The kitchen is perfect, plenty of work space and well laid out. Bit of confusion over the microwave until I realised it was built into the oven. Maybe do with a washing machine. Great surroundings and a great place to stay.”

”We arrived around 4:30, the carpark was busy and the restaurant really busy - wasn’t an issue for us as we were going out. The reception is away from the hustle and bustle of the bar/ restaurant which was good. The room was big enough, but the beds are really small. My husband had to go and ask for another room (on his own) as the double was bearly wide enough for both of us, let alone long enough. … so if you are over 5’8 you will struggle.
