”We were generally disappointed with the hotel. We paid for a better bigger room but were placed at the top of the hotel with a reasonably sized room. Lots of furniture in it which made it feel cramped. We think that a smell was being omitted from the air conditioner/ heater. Bathroom was indeed of a make up. Rust marks from the towel rail, mould on the shower walls and in the grouting. The wood was desperately in need of being painted and the loo and basin were on a low ceiling side which meant...

”Aamupalalla ja illallisella henkilökunta kuvaili hyvin näkövammaiselle henkilölle ruokia.”

”High standard. Only niggle was no table so nowhere to eat. Strange for an appartment with kitchen.”

”The room was really hot and we couldn’t adjust the temperature. The room was nicely furnished otherwise, just small. The breakfast was really good. Location on the river near the train station, great.”

”Extremely well located for visiting Ely - a ten minute walk to the city centre/cathedral. Lovely quiet location. Cozy, very clean rooms. Fantastic food - breakfast and evening meal. Robert is a delightful host. A wonderful place to stay. Highly recommend.0”

”WOW! What a stunning place! Which we highly recommend a stay here. From when you initially arrive at the property and travel down the drive you can see the wonderful gardens and beautiful views. We were checked in by Millie, who showed us to our room, which was amazing Unfortunately the restaurant wasn’t open, but they did do meat and cheese boards, which we shared one of each, and certainly were not disappointed by the taste and variety. The staff are friendly and attentive, without being over...

”Lovely pub with rooms. Staff were very helpful and friendly and our room was cosy and quiet. We had breakfast and dinner, both of which were excellent. Parking was no problem and the pub provided a good base for exploring Cambridge and the Fens.”

”The staff were really friendly and the room was really well appointed and clean. The breakfast was good too. The only drawback with this property is that the rooms are upstairs in a SUPER busy pub. There was a disco downstairs until 2am which there was no escaping from. Thankfully we were out at an event until late so we didn’t have to put up with it for too long and it was quiet once everyone had left.”

”Lovely accomodation. Really quiet, easy to find and park and clear check instructions given the day before. The garden was well maintained - we had a lovely room opening out onto the back. There's a couple of pubs, shops and an Indian restaurant all within walking distance and it's 5 mins up the road from the Park and Ride into Cambridge. Fully recommend a stay here! A recommendation to the hotel would be to provide some instructions/guide in the room on any local amenities as well as how the...

”Could fault it in any way we had a great stay room was great staff where great didn’t try breakfast this time but will next time”

”As always extremely helpful host. Room & dining areas impeccably clean. In a rural environment which is beautiful and relaxing. I very often return there as I feel safe (I travel alone), there’s parking, excellent breakfasts. Highly recommend.”
