Long story short, there was no power at the house for the entire duration. No hot tub, no refrigerator, no tv, no laundry, no lights, no nothing. The host stated that "unfortunately power outages are out of our control". Problem is that there was power on his adjacency lot the entire time. There was also power at the little construction shack located ON the subject property by way of a makeshift powerline strung from the adjacent property. There was also power down the road and across the street at the next nearest home. We know the power was out way before we arrived because the freezer was warm and the hot tub was the same temperature of the pool. Which brings me to the next concern ... we were unable to access the site on the first evening as we arrived in a 2wd vehicle (the host warned that a 4wd was necessary for access) our bad. But oddly enough a member of the management company showed up to document the type of vehicle we arrived in but refused to take us the 400 meters up the hill to the house. We were forced to check into an alternate hotel. The next morning when things dried up we made another attempt to reach the home which was easy to do when it was't raining, but that is when we discovered no power unable to access the property on the first night.
