Huone oli pieni ja likainen, käytävä huoneeseen oli myös likainen. Lakanat olivat puhtaat. Kylpyhuoneen viemäri oli tukossa ja vesi lainehti lattialle. Vastaanottohenkilökunta oli tylyä, ja matkatavaroiden säilytyksestä veloitettiin maksu. Huone oli myös erittäin huonosti äänieristetty - ulkoa ja/tai naapurihuoneesta kuului kovaäänistä melua koko yön molempina öinä, ja nukkuminen n oli vaikeaa.
