”Clean room but lack of plug sockets bedside is very inconvenient”

”Firstly, I didn’t make use of the ‘amenities’. I was visiting parents who had moved house so this was literally a place to rest my head. That being said, the restaurant staff were lovely as I arrived late when l they were finishing shift so helped me find keys and get in. The room was decent - comfortable bed, shower and separate toilet. The only gripe I had was that the toilet light was on a timer so when cleaning teeth/washing face etc light would go off after 15s or so. Would definitely...

”Excellent staff, super friendly and helpful. Our room 106 needed some TLC but it was super clean and spacious with a very comfy mattress. Breakfast was very good, great assortment of cold and hot food and love that’s it’s a ‘help yourself’ options. Good quality food. Our satnav wouldn’t accept the postcode, so if yours is the same, it’s just off junction 36 of the A1. ”

”Fantastic communication from the outset. Easily found and right next door to The Mayflower public house so after a long journey there’s no further travelling to do to get an evening meal. Plenty of parking, very easy check in and an exceptional selection of produce supplied for breakfast next morning. Good heating system, great bed, powerful shower, all in all with all of the other attentions to detail a great stay, very highly recommended.”

”Parking was easy and plenty off room , we also got in our room early which was a bonus as we were at a wedding there . Had a lovely wedding but only down side very limited hot drinks in the room and a biscuit would have been a nice touch. Also the bar was very expensive for alcohol drinks and some people with us who were driving got charged £12 for two large cokes . ”

”Great snug room, mattress was not very comfy, felt like it needed replacing. Lovely food and staff were so friendly. Just be warned if there’s a wedding on it’s so loud in the bedrooms we could get to sleep until late as a result”

”Lovely quirky hotel. Free parking and in easy reach of public transport with only a short tram journey to the centre of Sheffield. Rooms clean and welcoming. Beds comfy and a modern clean and large on suite. Breakfast was perfect with help yourself cereal toast and a full menu of various cooked options to choose from cooked fresh with table service. Only downside breakfast room was far too hot. Would definitely return.”

”Sarah and Stuart are wonderful hosts, the breakfast is amazing, the rooms are delightful and the bed was so comfy. As always, we were made to feel so welcome. Would highly recommend a stay here in this wonderful home. ”

”Very polite staff, good breakfast included in price, clean, good location and free parking. Only negative thing was bed matress that was leaning to middle heavily and resulted in very sure back after one week stay.”
