”The property was lovely, and clean. A great location with good amenities. One of the bedrooms is on the ground floor which was a bit tricky for us staying with young kids and not mentioned in the information, and the on street parking availability on the street mentioned nearby was really limited, but we travelled on a very busy school holiday weekend. We have stayed at lots of homes as an extended family group and this was great, with a good location. Only criticism would be that 9:30am is the...

”Had a great long weekend at the property. Had loads of stuff there to use the kitchen to its full potential. Was lovely and warm and everyone had plenty of space in the accommodation. We were able to celebrate Christmas with my mum who is going to Guatemala next month and won’t be there. A few tiny tweaks will make this a perfect let but already great as it is.”

”Fabulous place to stay”

”We hired the bunkhouse for two nights of birthday celebrations and walking. Great location with stunning walks right outside the door. Wainwright’s Inn is a few steps away, as is the co-op with its little cafe upstairs. I hope to make our stay an annual event. Highly recommended!”

”A great place to stay ”

”Our party comprised 4 adults and a small dog. The cottage has mountain views from every window. It is spacious and clean. Our only neighbours were sheep! It is an easy walk into Keswick, on a good footpath. We loved our stay and hope to come again. ”

”The cottage is so homely and had everything you needed! Definitely a home from home. Hot tub was a fantastic edition. We also used the pizza oven one evening. Both bathrooms had powerful and hot showers. The host was very attentive and responded within hours of sending a message. Location is just picture perfect, with Ennerdale Water a 2 min drive away with plenty parking. There isn’t much else to do, other than walk at the lake, it was very quiet and peaceful. There are 2 pubs within walking...

”Great week in Grasmere with ten of us comfortably accommodated in this house. A few minutes walk from the centre of Grasmere with its cafes, pubs and restaurants and on the doorstep of some stunning Lakes hikes and bike rides. Highly recommend bbq and drinks in the beautiful gardens as the sun goes down. Fabulous Lake District experience.”
