”This is absolutely a beautiful hotel with very friendly staff. I have nothing negative to add. We will definitely be returning in November, staying a few days in Bar Harbour MI, on our way to Florida. KarenLee checked us in & she was wonderful. Thanks for a beautiful place to stay. ”

”Booked a stay to celebrate my wife and I getting married - we booked an executive suite at what we thought was a nice little hotel outside Bangor, Maine. I even called on 3/18 to confirm we would be able to bring our dog, as it was unclear online whether the room was pet friendly or not. I was told it was - but when I called to confirm our check-in time the day of our stay, I was notified that was actually not the case.
We were downgraded to a standard room, as those were the only pet friendly...

”I've stayed at this property many times over the decades because it's so convenient for very early flights. I like the most recent owners. The restaurant is decent and the rooms are clean and seem to have been upgraded a bit. Love that they have coffee and cookies in the lobby.”

”This small, historic building was a refreshing change from all the corporate-owned lodgings. The staff were very friendly and helpful (including the two welcoming dogs who functioned as greeters). The winter salad and blueberry pie were phenomenal!”
