”Charming, one story, very well maintained lodge located on a beautiful river. Our room was extremely clean. Our bed was super comfortable. Plenty of clean towels and hot water. Perfect location for visiting Smokie Mountain National Park. ”

”We had a wonderful and relaxing time here. This b&b is tucked away from the hustle of town while still being conveniently located. The grounds are lovely to walk around, and we enjoyed seeing the various animals that live nearby. Toni is a wonderful host to the guests and really made all the difference in our stay. The breakfasts were hearty and delicious. We never left hungry and you could really tell that everything was very fresh. Another visitor was vegan and was accommodated, which I felt...

”Beds were in bad shape and squeaked. Not very clean, found a spiderweb and bug by air conditioner. Sliding bathroom door on the inside appeared to have never been cleaned. Weird shower. Stain on carpet. Breakfast was sad. Place was quiet. Staff was great.”

”I really liked this hotel. We were right in downtown Gatlinburg and could walk everywhere we wanted to go. The staff is very nice and helpful. Check in and check out was so easy and efficient. Will stay here again. We don’t have animals but it is very pet friendly.”

”I first would like to say, reviews before booking the room for the weekend were great. And I normally don't leave reviews, but...Parking is tight and not enough. NO towels in the room, never have I had that happen; had to go back to desk (separate attached building outside) for them after checking in. No hooks or towel bars of any sort in bathroom, so nowhere to put towel after use. Not a working clock and most plugs didn't work for electronics. Not enough lighting in room and small desk lamp...

”Close to restaurants and shopping. Great Smokey Mountain Railroad Train Depot about a 2 minute drive from their parking lot. The staff is AMAZING! They give you options for your breakfast and serve it exactly the way you want it. The homemade blueberry bread is delicious. You will get a tour of the grounds as soon as you arrive. The rooms are very clean. The whole place is very charming. I highly recommend. ”

”Great Location, but Expect Misleading Ads and Noise The Good: You can’t beat the location. It’s right on the strip and very easy to access all the main attractions. For the price, the convenience is definitely there. The Bad: Unfortunately, the "cons" were significant. False Advertising: The online photos show a hot tub, but there isn’t one on-site. Zero Security/Service: We stayed during a convention, and the hallways were full of drunk teenagers yelling well past midnight. The front desk...

”Step back 105 years and sink yourself into a time of relaxation and small town charm. The Calhoun House has all the modern comforts but a real yester-year feel. Ed is a great historian and host and makes you feel at home, and we did.....stayed an extra unplanned night too!”
