”Worst place with the worst attitude manager. Stayed here before we flew the next day. Spa wasn't open as work was going on. That was fine, however I ran a bath and the water was brown with lots of dirt in. Ran the shower. Exactly the same. Went to reception to be told nothing they could so. Requested a refund as this was unacceptable to be put in a room with no working water. Got £50 pound back. I wasn't happy with this so spoke to the manager the next morning who was very defensive and said...

”The Skipton Hotel was well appointed for a short towpath walk to Skipton centre. It had a lovely view, staff were generally helpful, and breakfast was fine. Our room though (a studio on floor 5) was baking hot and when we complained about this we got given an extra fan. It wasn't just that the weather was hot (it was) but the generators and other plant equipment sent heat through the floor into the room making it sauna like. We feel we should have asked to be moved but didn't want to complain...
