”Great location between Clitheroe and great walks. Super pubs within 5 to 10 miles. Cottage roomy, beautifully warm with super wood burning stove. Beds comfy and kitchen well equipped . Owner very welcoming and quick to respond to any issues. Furnishings a bit tired and a stale smell of dogs, especially in the main bedroom.”

”No contact at arrival time from host. We had to phone to get entry details. Also cleaning could be improved. Kitchen in particular was mucky.”

”This was our first visit to the Forest of Bowland area and it was definitely worth it. The Old Dairy is set next to a meadowvwith trees in the distance and the farm next to it. The owners are to be congratulated on their attention to the little things that are so handy. Superb beds made for a wonderful night sleep. A fan was available for those hot, sticky days and nights. Helpful notes on places to eat, drink, cycle , walk or just enjoy. Scenic drives to market towns mean even the drive is...

”This cottage was beautiful clean comfortable and quiet I would recommend it to everyone did not want to get up in the morning the bed was so comfortable if you want a truly peaceful break with beautiful scenery this is the place to be”

”Very welcoming to my dog; dog treats & bowls!! I understood it was an enclosed garden but it wasn't so I had to put her lead on every time she wanted to go out. This wasn't such a hardship though. ”
