”The staff went out of their way to ensure that we had an enjoyable stay. We were out and about most of the time and just needed a place to sleep. The rooms were comfortable and clean and we all slept well. The breakfast was delicious and the portion sizes were generous (a bit too generous for some of us!). It’s located in a lovely quiet little village that we would have liked to see more of.”

”The checking in was brilliant, we arrived in the morning and they gave us our key early as we were not going to be needing our room until later as we were attending a wedding in a nearby village.
Everything was as you would expect however the bed was not!!
They had put a king size mattress on a double bed.
Unbeknown to me I turned over while I was asleep and fell out hurting myself!!
The mattress was not supported by anything under it and it was overlapping my side of the bed by about 9...

”We arrived later than planned and called ahead - this wasn't a problem. Room was clean, shower hot with great pressure, bed super comfy and breakfast was delicious (we'll definitely be back to dine for lunch or dinner!). Place is wonderfully done throughout and staff all kind and approachable. We could hear loud snoaring from the adjacent room (nothing some white noise can't drown out on our phones!) but we appreciate it's part of staying in an old characterful property. Great value for money...
