”What a fabulous place and amazing owners. Nigel and Clare are just lovely people. Nothing is too much trouble for them. The alpacas, ducks and hens make it a really interesting place to stay as well. Much easier travel into Betws, Conwy and Snowden from this side as well.”

”Hotellin sijainti oli hyvä aivan rantakadulla. Hotelli oli siisti ja aamiainen hyvä. Ainoa huono puoli oli pysäköinti: ahtaalla takapihalla vain pari paikkaa. Myöhemmin selvisi, että kadun varrelle hotellin eteen olisi voinut pysäköidä edulliseen päivähintaan. Hintaansa nähden hyvä hotelli.”

”Great stay at Darwin Townhouse. We stayed in one of the garden rooms which was lovely. It had all the amenities needed eg hair dryer, iron, kettle etc. crisp clean sheets and comfy bed. The garden was lovely with seating areas for the nice weather. We bought a bottle of wine from the nearby wine shop and sat on in the garden one night. The breakfast was lovely and plentiful, as was the food at the Loopy Shrew (discounted if you stay in their property). Staff were lovey. The building is just a...

”Simply superb! This traditional B&B, for me, was perfect. Louise met me at the door with a warm smile and showed me to my, quaint, comfortable room. The brass-rail bed was super comfortable and my breakfast was cooked excellently by Peter, the other half of this welcoming (and hardworking) couple. ”A lovely place with an interesting history, super friendly welcome, lovely room and everything we needed. We dined there too and the food was spot on, really tasty, good portions and fairly priced. The only thing I would say is that the room was a little chilly and we couldn’t find controls to change that. However I assumed as it was summertime the heating was off, it just happened to be a rainy chilly May Day! I had a lovely deep bath in the freestanding tub and was soon back to being warm!”
