”I can recommend this sanctuary of a hotel for the beauty, service, breakfast , comfortable bed, sound of the river, trail behind the hotel and the bathtub ( a rare find in the sacred valley. Frank and Lyda were attentive and helpful. They went out of their way for us. I absolutely love room 3, which is on the second floor with a gorgeous view of the river. ”We thoroughly enjoyed the one night we spent on property. The room was immaculate, so pretty and updated. We had a jacuzzi suite. There was really only enough hot water to fill it, then that’s it. Very typical for the country/area. They were sure to provide extra blankets in the room already, as it does get chilly in Cuzco at night. They provided towels and robes, with little tea candles lit by the tub. In the morning, they brought us breakfast to our room, which was such a nice touch. Be aware...

Työntekjät hyvin omistautuneita ja avuliaita. Hotellilla voi täyttää ilmaseksi oman vesipullon, ja joka ilta huoneeseen tuodaan n. klo 7 kupilliset teetä termoksessa ja kuumavesipullot lämmikeeksi kylmiä iltoja varten. ”

”Amaru Colonial was one of the best hotel experiences I’ve ever had. It is a beautiful hotel with stunning views of Cusco from the patio. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful. The area felt safe and is a short walk to the city center. Breakfast each day was healthy and tasty. The staff went above and beyond with transporting and storing our luggage for a few days while we went to Machu Picchu at their sister hotel which we stayed at when we returned to Cusco. ”
