This charming banana River front home boasts 5 bedrooms and 3 full baths.. This home has a game room which includes a shuffle board table and 2 arcade games.. It also has a 6 person hot tub overlooking the river. Sit outside on the fully covered patio and look out onto the river in all directions enjoying your morning coffee or even a glass of wine.

Family Getaway

The location of the house on the river was amazing, as was the size for the 9 family members of various ages that stayed there. The game room occupied the kids as did the dock and available kayaks. There were plenty of beach toys for all to enjoy.

Better options Available in this area-

The pictures look great but are far from the reality we experienced-I wish I could post photos of our experience and the filth of this house!. The house was dirty-bedding had animal hair, makeup stains. Mattress stained with blood and who knows what else! We had to search for towels-which the host informed us they were in a closet in the game room-we found them and they were damp. This was due to the fact that the dryer was broke and made a Horrendous sound when we tried to use it. The house had sand and cockroaches all throughout the downstairs. We contacted the host about the hot tub being full of sand and the response was it was just cleaned. It was full of sand! Beer bottle caps lined the ledge. I wish I could post the pictures! We had to wash the dishes before use. The dining room had broken chairs. Before booking, I was told we had use of Kayaks but after we checked in, I could not find them . I Contacted the host and I was told I could go down to another location and get them, but I did not feel comfortable going into a someone’s gated yard so he dropped them off on the third day of our stay. We contacted VRBO with the issues and lack of response from the host-this took up a lot of our vacation time-providing photo evidence and ended up with no resolution from VRBO. They contacted the host and he said that these were all minor inconveniences. I would stay away from this home and I am no longer booking with VRBO from now on!!!

Wonderful location...VRBO mess up to start

Wonderful location, we could walk to the beach, enjoy our morning coffee on the dock while watching pelicans and dolphins entertained us. It was great having all the bedrooms so everyone had their own place. We had 4 generations staying together. Now the negative, VRBO changed our stay so we lost time, money and it was frustrating explaining it and they said "It's no big deal. There's nothing to worry about!" But they didn't help us find another place and left us out of luck for 2 nights. Then the city came and asked questions about the owner because he wasn't registered as a rental yet...

Great for a family get together!

Amazing location on the Banana River! Every morning (except the first day, as it poured all day long) we sat on the dock and watched the dolphin, pelicans and especially the osprey that were nesting in a tree right above us. We walked to the beach and Squid Lips. The house was perfect for our family that came from everywhere!

Loved the House and Backyard. Stayed only 2 days, but was perfert for the 8 of us. Superior Host and was wonderful to deal with.

Not a great start

When we arrived at the property the thermostats were set at 82 degrees. The downstairs started to cool down to 79 but not the upstairs. At 2:00 pm we notified the owner. He said someone would be there at 5:00 pm. When we came home from dinner at 8:30 we were met by the AC man, who had just arrived, who said it would not be fixed until the next day. It was 91 degrees upstairs. It this point we had to figure out ways to have the ten of us all sleep downstairs on couches and the floor. There is 1 bedroom downstairs. The AC guy decided to come back at 10, we had AC at 10:30. There was no enjoyment that first day. The next morning we had to get up for our mothers funeral service.
