”Instead of driving home late we wanted a place to stay after going to the theater in Hilo. Dolphin Bay Hotel was perfect. Within walking distance to the theater, shops and restaurants made it a very convenient option. Our room and the entire area is very clean. Our room was airy and comfortable. ”We loved our 7-night stay at Hilltop vacation rental! We had the economy room with a view of the ocean and it was very cool to wake up to the sun rising. The room was clean, there was a shower and bathroom and all of the necessary essentials for our stay—coffee maker, small fridge, etc…The parking was a bit tight, but our rental Jeep fit into the parking spots! ”My husband and I stayed there for four nights and we had the most wonderful time there. Every morning was a different type of fresh cut fruit, mostly grown in the property and home bake goods. ”If you are a backcountry camper, this is for you! The hut is situated in primitive setting of rain forest. You can imagine a big tent but in wood sitting in the woods. I like the nature surrounding and the art deco. However, lack of electricity and a modern bathroom is a big downside. The host is friendly, responsive, and helpful. However, descriptions of the property and instructions to the property aren't sufficiently clear.”
