Lyhyt ajomatka Dauphinin saaren hiekkarannalle Meksikonlahdella. Tule tutustumaan perheen kanssa tässä kauniissa ranta-talossa. Mukavat kalusteet, seulotut kuistit tunnistaa pehmeät tuulet. Rentouttava ja rauhallinen. Siinä on 3 makuuhuonetta ja 3 kylpyhuonetta. Suuri turvatarkastusalue rentoutumiseen, grillaamiseen tai pingispöydän pelaamiseen. Voit kalastaa telakasta tai ottaa aurinkoa, kun katsot joen. Dauphin-saari on noin 15 minuutin päässä. Voit myös vierailla Historic Fort Gaines, Sea Lab ja Estuarium (joitakin käteviä nähtävyyksiä, jotka kiehtovat lapsia). Paljon ravintoloita ja tuoreimpia mereneläviä on aivan vieressä.
Historiallinen Bellingrath Gardens (10 minuutin ajomatka) ja sen kauniita kukintoja ympäri vuoden on nähtävää. Kestää noin 30 minuuttia Mobilein saamaan kaikki nähtävyydet siellä.

Kitchen island had to be wiped down when we got there, missing light bulbs in some fixtures, only 3 lamps in the whole place, no window treatments in living room, back porch needed to be hosed off and furniture needed repainting, no working smoke detectors, house smelled musty and ventilation system was turned off when we got there, no easy way to watch TV, and obviously it wasn't checked by the host before we got there. It was the most disappointing Vrbo that I've stayed in.

What a great house. It’s clean and comfortable. The views are great. The hosts are fantastic. I bought some of the best lump crabmeat I have had in years! The shrimp were great too and I had some shipped to my son in Washington State.

Birthday weekend

We were here for a peaceful birthday weekend and this was just the place!! Coffee in the morning on the screened in porch was amazing, and the walk down to the dock, we could have spent the whole day there just watching the wildlife. We went to the Bellengrath gardens for the Chinese lantern fest and it was lovely. Restaurants were crowded so we BBQ ‘d at the house was perfect sitting under the house and still able to visit while cooking. Great place!!

Perfect Tranquility

We love privacy and nature. This river house met and exceeded expectations. At the end of a long driveway, it provided the privacy we like. Overlooking the marsh and river, I identified 21 bird species in about 90 minutes one morning. While remote, there is nearby access to a Fowl River boat ramp, a beachfront at Mobile Bay park, and Dauphin Island. Property was clean. Easy to communicate with owner.

Wonderful getaway

The home was just what we needed. Plenty of room for the entire family. The kids really enjoyed fishing from the pier. We really enjoyed the time together sitting inside the screened porches. Great place with plenty of room to roam!

Beautiful location and home

This house and property was great for two families with kids. Lots of room inside and out, and the ping pong table downstairs was a hit. Host was very friendly and thoughtful, checking in with us before and during our stay. We will definitely suggest this house to others.

Wonderful home and GREAT host and fishing

We found this gem last minute and were SO happy with it. The directions were very easy, host is great and it is a very private spot on huge lot with a brand new dock right on the water. We spent 2 nights and all 3 beds we used were super comfortable. The house inside was spotless and very nicely decorated. The back deck is upstairs on second floor and watching summer lightning storms in the distance and sunset is beautiful. We had no issues with mosquitoes which I just assumed would be a problem that close to water so that was cool. Both evenings we fished and used one of the crab cages for fun. We threw everything back but got a really nice redfish 20" and 19" flounder. Several croakers and a few small hard heads. For 3 dudes this place was AWESOME! Store is right around the corner and easy drive to/from Mobile for fishing supplies. We ate 2 times at an incredible restaurant called Bayou Seafood Company which has the BEST fried and boiled shrimp we have ever had at a really fair price. Growing up in S Texas we were surprised as it blew away the Kings Inn and Papadeuex fried shrimp which is really good if you're familiar with them. For private pilots its really close to Mobile, St. Elmo and Dauphin Island. We did have to fly out early to beat summer pop up storms but that's gulf coast in summer. Would have loved to have stayed longer. If the hosts will let us we'll def come back every chance we get. If you have kids they would LOVE the dock. AC was GREAT!

Outdoor bounty

The place was clean, spacious and comfortable. We docked our boat on the new pier, caught crabs in the provided traps, foraged for 4 varieties of gourmet mushrooms on the property and had an over all fantastic trip. Gorgeous views and easy access to the bays and great fishing. And our host was fast to reply and gracious with any request we had. Could not be happier.

Perfect off-island spot for Dauphin trip

The house was very clean and provided everything we needed for a weeks stay. The location was perfect - less expensive than staying right on Dauphin Island but about as close as you can get with a Dollar General right down the road for last minute needs. The ping pong table was an added bonus for the kids. Would definitely stay here again! Very private.

I loved being able to watch the sunsets on the back screened in porch, and the sunrises on the front porch with a cup of coffee. The property is beautiful and so is the house. Definitely a great place to unwind and disconnect. And only being 10 to 15 mins away from the island, theres so much to do. My family had a great stay, and are already looking to book again.

AMAZING

We loved everything about our stay! From fishing off the dock, swinging in the swing, relaxing in the home, to sitting on the balcony watching it rain. It was nothing short of perfect! Such a peaceful atmosphere, we will definitely be visiting again!!

Never stayed here at all! Showed up 1st day disgusting. Nasty dirty no furniture at house is same as pics on listing! Mold mildew stains and bugs Location! Location is in middle of nowhere! Can't get Host to refund your money! Good luck with VRBO lol you be on phone on hold for hours to get hung up on!
