”Pet-friendly BUT you need to know that the guesthouse is just a small part of a large caravan and camping site. There’s also a field of horses. Guesthouse clients with dogs are only allowed in rooms accessible from the outside; we weren’t allowed inside the building. So my room opened directly onto the access road, with all the mud and noise that comes from all the traffic, walkers, and horses that passed in front of the door and small window. ”An excellent stay, with a great room and facilities. The only ‘quirk’ experienced was a lack of personal interaction with the owners after being taken to the room. Highly recommended ”

”The bathroom was quite small and felt cramped, which made it uncomfortable to use. The breakfast offering was also disappointing, with very limited variety. On top of that, there were noticeable plumbing noises from other rooms, especially when toilets were flushed, which affected the overall comfort of the stay.”

”The cottage is spacious, with a big kitchen and cosy lounge. There are lots of bed options and towels provided. Unfortunately, very basic items like cloths (for cleaning surfaces), dishwasher tablets, and teatowels are not provided, making it difficult to keep everything clean during the stay.
