”Unique, interesting and beautiful decor throughout the hotel. The food was good.”

”We had a very warm welcome from the friendly staff and were shown to the room which was clean and bright. The food that evening was excellent, and as it was a warm evening we spent a pleasant time sitting outside with our drinks afterwards. Continental breakfast was served promptly at 8 am and the addition of fresh strawberries and blueberries was a definite plus! Check in / check out was swift and efficient. ”We had a lovely stay. Our room was perfect for us….lovely comfy bed and a small courtyard where we had dinner delivered! We were lucky that the weather was very warm too. Our dogs were very happy and calm and safe there . I would happily recommend this room (2) for anyone travelling with dogs. Thank you Wynnstay and staff, you made our trip really comfortable.”

”It's situated in a great spot in a really vibrant friendly village The rooms on the 4th floor are very hot and they had no a/c of a fan available. The very small window only partially opened, enough for flies to come in but little breeze I recommended that the hotel provide the upper floors with fans always Had a good snack at the hotel Lots of places to go for dinner and drinks nearby”

”The property is old beams, four poster beds, sloping floors, beautiful property nice restaurant local to shops pubs and staff young and very helpful and polite nothing too much trouble, our room had a king size 4 poster bed high but very comfortable good shower too, definitely be going back again food was very good also and when you stay you get 10% off food and drink”

”Great stay, parking available and close to the town centre, loved sitting on the sun deck and enjoying a drink before an amazing meal at the restaurant.”

”This is the best stay I have had away from home. The host was so welcoming, it was like visiting a close friend. Well taken care of. I was in Shrewbury for a Triathlon, and had to be taken to hospital. The host took in my bike from UK Triathlon who delivered it to help me. Breakfast was brililant. And the room was MASSIVE. More than just and B&B”

”Good old style hotel in the middle of the city. Rooms by the street are awfully noicy.”

”Just a 5 minute walk into Shrewsbury centre. Ample parking in a quiet street. Check in process was simple. Room was very clean with lots of little extras, tea, coffee, water, snacks. Quirky interesting decor but clearly attention to detail throughout. Bathroom/shower very clean and comfy bed, slept right through. Would definitely recommend, 9/10.”
