”This home is located on a canal facing west so the sunset views were incredible. The guest rooms had lavender scented memory foam mattresses that were very comfortable and calming. The center dining room/dining table were really cool. The canoe part was stocked with games. The washer and dryer were brand new and did loads of laundry lightning fast. Just a short drive to the beach and horses everywhere. Can’t beat a beach weekend in Carova.”

”Lovely vintage cottage with little touches that make you enjoy the stay. Like a dark washcloth that says Makeup!, paper cups in bathroom and coffee pods, sugar and creamers. Everything you need. One suggestion, driveway is on a curve and easy to miss! May want to slow way down at you pass 830 mailbox as 838 is coming soon!”

”The property was modern and clean. Great location for viewing birds, horses & dolphins. It was wonderful for submerging yourself in the wildlife sounds of Outerbanks. We heard coyotes and plenty of nocturnal birds at night. Ensure you have a high clearance AWD or 4WD vehicle to get there. The only odd things were no hand soap for the bathroom or kitchen and the additional charge for linens. Otherwise, it was a 5/5 experience! Thanks for sharing”

”We had a great time at the KOA cabin. The property could have used a bit more cleaning prior to check-in, but nothing that was unmanageable! The location was beautiful and peaceful! Will be going back!”

”Our stay was absolutely amazing. Quiet neighborhood, lovely views. The outdoor toys accommodated all of us (4 adults). The crabbing was a great experience and the owners were very responsive to one minor issue we had the entire week of our stay. Would definitely stay again.”

”Absolutely love this property and area. They work well for my wife and I and our Lab. Everything is within walking distance. 3 min to the beach. 3 min to the Lighthouse. And restaurants near by. Great place to just check out for a bit, relax and unwind. The property amenities are coming along with the pool and fitness room now open.”

”We just returned from a lovely stay at this home. It is very clean and well-appointed with an updated kitchen and furnishings. The home is well-designed - the master bedroom and bath upstairs and 3 bedrooms and bath downstairs allowed 3 generations of our family to sleep comfortably and still have privacy and some personal space when we wanted. It is very tech-savvy as well - with flat-screen TVs in various rooms and great wi-fi- it kept the teenagers happy and let the grown-ups check in with...

”This property was perfect for our first trip to check out the Outer Banks with some family and friends and our dogs. Everything with the property was stellar, the host was very responsive and offered great suggestions (including helping us find accommodations in the complex for two more couples who joined our group). The complex and individual unit were great and will be even better as all portions are completed (referring to fitness center in particular). Unfortunately we were a little too...
