”Very nice hotel and enjoyed our stay”

”We can recommend this hotel unreservedly. Staff went out of their way to help us with our problems and make us comfortable. We first had to change our reservation due to the train strike and Joey took care of that, next we wanted twin instead of double beds and Emily took care of that. Everytime we asked for help they were able to do something. The hotel is very conveniently located in the high street, clean and welcoming. Food in the bar is excellent.”

”Comfy and spacious room even though it was on the 3rd floor, with no lift. Good exercise for one with mobility issues! Lovely views of the meadows from the room, easy to bird watch. Swan nesting nearby was an added attraction. An improvement could be made to the continental breakfast, not up to Premier Inn standards”

”What a lovely hotel - couldn't fault it. Had never heard of the brand of hotel before, but all was good. Very quiet hotel so had a peaceful sleep. We eat there too and again, couldn't fault the food or staff - would definitely use this brand of hotel again”

”The young receptionist/bar person (I didn’t get her name but she is slim with dark hair and a tattoo on her upper body) was extremely accommodating and so helpful. I had a lot of work to do in my room but needed to have a meal. I asked if I could eat my meal in my room, so ordered it and began to wait. She very kindly offered to deliver the meal to my room when it was ready. The meal was delivered 15 minutes later by this lovely young lady and with a smile. Great customer service, thank you so...

”We booked 2 rooms, due to a late finish at work. Would have been better to return home at 2 am in the morning. Noisy guests on and off until 3am, which you can get at any hotels, but the rooms do not insulate from the noise. I asked if there was a night porter to help manage noisy guests the next morning to be told yes. I asked could they not walk around the buildings to manage nuisance guests. I was told in the night porters defence he may not have heard them, which I highlighted was clearly...
