”We've been to Auburn multiple times but this was our first time staying at Foothills and it will now be our new spot to stay. The price is affordable and the location is great. We arrived Friday night and got checked in by Glenn who was super friendly and super helpful. ”The property has no staff or management on-site overnight. We checked in as normal but when we returned at 11 pm our room cards would not work. We rang the button outside the office - you could hear the phone ringing for two minutes, then it disconnected. Tried that more than a few times. Also called the phone number to reach the hotel several times - also no answer. Called Expedia, they could not reach hotel staff. Expedia attempted to get us another hotel room in Nevada City, no other hotels...
