”Expedia does not tell you they don’t answer phone calls from foreign numbers & they have no front desk/ staff on site so only way to communicate is thru Expedia. I couldn’t get continental breakfast because Expedia blocks emails & they couldn’t send me payment link. No food or beverage available on site or within walking distance. Food delivery was lame, cash only & no utensils. Decent shower, bed & wifi”

”The room was clean but overall hotel needs lots of TLC. Only seen one member of staff. He was receptionist, bartender and possibly waiting on breakfast tables, so he was kept going. For what we paid for overnight stay, we have no complaints. Main thing was the room and en suite were clean. If you want 5 star you need to be prepared to pay a lot more than this hotel charges. Overall it did the job.”

”Fabulous place to stay. Bedrooms very high standard. Breakfast pre ordered and delivered to your room at the requested time. You can change your choice each day but we kept it the same. Staff were very friendly and checked with us that everything was ok and did we need anything more. If we are this way again I will definitely book this again. Parking was easy as the main street has loads of parking.”

”Checked into our first room, toilet flush inop and a washing up bowl on the side with the toilet fixings hanging off. Reported to reception who moved us to another room with a sauna, sauna did not work, horrendous noise from the kitchen fans and no sea view which we had upgraded to. Back to reception for a second time and had to argue to get moved room again. Third room was terrible, smelt damp, curtains hanging off, paint peeling off walls and cracks in windows. ”Me and four friends stayed at Raj’s awesome Fyne Rooms as a night stop over on our five ferries cycle weekend. Arrived late and soaked - the lovely rooms were a Godsend! Also, Raj lent us the use of small shed to lock our bikes up. Also despite being fully booked up & really busy, Raj and his lovely team Nathan & Tabby(?) cooked us some really tasty pakora and nan wraps. I would not hesitate recommending. Thank you guys, Tony”
