âRoom was clean, but little too hot, had to open window to cool the room. Bed was also little too hard for me, but was great for my husband. Breakfast was good, it had eggs, meat, potatoes, and also waffle maker for fresh waffles. It would have been great if they had decaf coffe, as only regular coffee was brewed for breakfast.â

âThis did have basic service that you would expect with a 3 star hotel. We were a party of 6, with 3 rooms reserved for 3 nights. Granted, we were some of the last visitors for the season, just prior to closure, but I literally had to go begging coffee refills for the mornings, and the tea was not replenished. I finally located some at the front desk--since housekeeping was unable to locate. Also, had to beg for Kleenex--after the dispenser was left empty for two days.
The daily housekeeping...

âBillieâs lived up to our expectations and more! My teenage daughter and I spent one night and loved it. Billie is kind and inviting. The hostel/house feels cozy and filled with history and memories. I was hoping to see the Aurora and managed to see a ribbon of dancing green lights right outside the hostel. Thereâs a wonderful cafe less than five minutes away. :)â

âI booked this hotel for the on site kitchen and free breakfast. There was no free breakfast or offer thereof. The checkin was cordial at best and in a nearby building, as advertised. The heated floors were great, however, the rest of the building, accommodations, kitchen amenities are very basic, but all work. â

âGreat property, clean, comfortable and best of all with great orientation to see the Auroras. Breakfast was a bit minimalistic (frozen items in the cabinâs fridge). Felt awkward not to ever meet any Staff at the lobby but they were always quick to answer email or phone. We recommend it !â

âThe room is very nice and spacious, but the TV was not watchable (very bad streaming, on every channel) and at noon time there was no hot water to shower, you would have to wait until later in the afternoon. As to the property, the convenience store/coffee shop was closed for renovation the entire time we were there, and the only open restaurant post-breakfast had no creamer for the coffee. One of the reasons I booked this hotel was because it was supposed to have these amenities, we did not...
