”This was a lovely quiet location which was very relaxing. The property we stayed in was lovely,my only disappointment was the bed was uncomfortable and both pillows were really flat. This however would not put us off staying again,we would just bring along our own pillows,and although the bed wasn’t very comfy,we could cope with this just for one night. Other than this ,we enjoyed our stay,and would definately return .”

”The room was excellent. Bedroom, small area with easy chairs and kitchen units between bedroom and bathroom. all beatifully maintained. As there was no restaurant or breakfast provided, the kitchen could be useful,for self catering. but every drawer empty so bring your own equipment. There was a vending machine in the barn for food.”

”Beautiful pub with rooms and staff were outstanding. Our rooms were really well appointed and clean. The food was good but we were a little underwhelmed with our meals. Salmon main dish was dripping in very salty miso and soy sauce. Restaurant was v busy and we were advised that there could be a wait for food. Breakfasts were fantastic though we had to wait a ridiculously long time for our food on the second morning. Only one person serving and one chef creates quite a problem! All in all we...

”After check in we were advised that we were in “The Residence” section of the hotel. Upon entering we were greeted by filthy carpeted stairs leading up to our room. On opening the door we were then met by a vile smell…the room had clearly not been used/aired for some time. The carpet was covered in stains, the bed frame fabric was ripped, a freestanding chair was also covered in stains. All this before inspecting the bathroom….disgustingly dirty. Shower door was thick with dirt & limescale,...
