”All the good things about camping, without the actual camping! The bed is comfy, the shower warm, and the electric kettle all we needed for hot drinks in the morning. This place is lovely, quiet, and literally within stumbling distance of Durango hot springs. The food trucks there are the real thing if you need dinner. And you can even have a campfire if you want. The windows and skylights are a neat touch and add to the ambiance. ”

Walkable to lots of shops, restaurants, coffee etc. neighboring areas of BV and Leadville were fun to explore as well. Easy access to tons of hikes in the area. Kitchen has everything you need, and everything was very clean.”

”Cute cottage with awesome views of the San Juan Mountains—uncompahgre peak, Sneffels, etc. Eight horses, ducks, goats, a pig in the petting zoo. Host Diana was a delight to work with. We knew the location so brought food rather than drive into Montrose or Ridgway for meals. Hope to get back for a Fall leaf season visit in Ouray County.”

”Beautiful older house, nice finishes tastefully refreshed. Amazing location with quick access and an easy walk into downtown. With the cool night air it would have been nice to have screens on the windows to leave them open. There should be a disclaimer regarding the drastic slant to the floor. I would love to stay there again, however, due to having vertigo I felt like I was walking in a fun house. ”

”We went during seasons so many of the amenities were closed or under maintenance. They do charge a resort fee, but the manager was very accommodating and did reverse the fee because of the situation. Management and front desk were very kind and communicative. Great location to skiing and town.”
