Booked a non smoking room but was given a smoking room instead, told the clerk that I asked for nonsmoking but he said he didn’t want to do the paperwork for the deposit required on that room. The room smelled horrible.
The sink was cracked, and the bathtub had rust and the enamel was worn off in the tub. There was mould around the caulking between the tub and the floor as well as the caulking on the tub tiling. The walls in the shower also had bad patching repairs.
The floor in the room was laminate and the many tiles were loose and curling up. My husband pinched his toes on one of the tiles and we were not even able to walk in the room without shoes on.
The mattress was hard and you could feel every spring. The sheets and bedspread were very thin and there was cigarette burns on the cover.
Sadly I can’t find one positive thing to say about this room. It was probably the worst hotel experience I have ever had, and this room shouldn’t be rented out to anyone. It is in desperate need of renovations and a deep cleaning.
