Nothing to complain about
Stayed here for two nights on our trip in North Italy. The room is spacious with a nice vibe, good bed and nice bathroom. The breakfast is great, everything was fresh, good juice and a nice selection of everything and couldn't stop eating with so much to choose from. The views from the balcony were just alright, but I don't travel to hotels for the views, I go walking around the city for views. The two later hotels I stayed in had an surprisingly nice view (on top of the hill by Lake Como) but I consider it as a nice "bonus". The restaurant outside had good food and service both in the hotel and restaurants was very good.

Grand Hotel Comossa - tasokasta asumista
Hotelli sijaitsee Tavernolassa muutaman kilometrin päässä Comon keskustasta. Comoon on melko hyvät bussiyhteydet (pari kertaa tunnissa) ja sinne pääsee myös laivalla. Hotelli sijaitsee aivan Tavernolan laivaasataman läheisyydessä ja laivat ovat hyvä tapa liikkua muihin järven kyliin. Hotellihuoneet ovat mukavia ja aamiaisbuffet (15 euroa) erinomainen. Hotellin puutarharavintola on viihtyisä ja ruoka hyvää. Ruokapaikkoja löytyy myös Cernobbiosta, jonne on noin kilometrin matka.

The hotel is in a quiet location, about 25 minute walk into town. Parking was very convenient in a garage under the hotel. Check in was very smooth and the rooms are spacious and clean.

Property was great. Staff messed us around when we wanted to stay an extra night. We had a lot of time wasted and miscommunication. Didn’t end up staying longer.

Would recommend nice hotel good location
Good location on the lake and overall a very nice hotel would recommend although we have extended our stay as we liked it here they have charged us a fair bit more on the nightly rate than our first few days which is a little unfair

Modern and clean- also had a pool! Walking distance to the ferry and a nice super market . Other then that, you need a taxi to the main part of town . The front desk was very helpful with that. The dining options at the hotel are great as well

Shower head was broken. Drainage was poor in the tub. Overall size small . Hotel is not cheap. One would expect better facilities for the price paid. Staff was very helpful though. Sheraton at airport is much better.

Indifferent at checkout, slightly disorganized. Good location and close to Cernobbio and some good restaurants. Concierge was terrible and quickly told the restaurant in the property (kitchen) was fully booked, so I proceeded to find multiple reservations at the Fork website within minutes of being told they had no availability. Most of the staff spoke very good English.

We had to be picked up by bus because the hotel would not call a taxi for us. Hotel is not well kept…our toilet seat was falling off as well as mold in the shower and on the “balcony.”. There are NO good views of the lake from here. We left early.

Great staff and hotel some problems though
Great staff and good location, we had a problem with the hotel taxi not picking us up from station. There was a lot of noise around the pool area as an Alnovis event guests was allowed to make lots of noise and generally act very badly. Could not fault the hotel staff , lovely pool and food good.
