”We absolutely loved staying at Roger’s home in Keswick! The three of us had plenty of room, all of the amenities we needed, and a beautiful garden courtyard to spend time together. It is a nice walk on a footpath to town, and a short distance to the Castlerigg Stone Circle. Roger was very helpful and gave us great recommendations for our stay in this gorgeous area. We hope to get back there again!”

”Lovely lodge, very clean & in a fabulous position with views of the Lake. The Lodge had everything you need, with comfortable beds & furniture, a very well stocked kitchen, a beautiful decking area with a variety of bird life visiting the feeders. It was a perfect stay for myself & my dog. Would highly recommend 👌”

”The accommodations were comfortable. I recommend the address location be better labeled on the stone wall. The cab driver had difficulty finding Cabin 3. The stone wall hides the view of the cabin. The laundry from the previous tenants never got picked up and the red laundry bag sat on the front stoop all week. The outside views from the dining room window, kitchen, bathroom and bedrooms were splendid.”

”Lovely place in great position with fantastic views. Well equipped kitchen. The bath towels were not really big enough and an information pack would have been useful. On the whole a good place to stay to get to surrounding areas.”

”This was our second holiday at High Bield - we stayed 2 years ago. It is a very special place to stay as it is in a wonderful location. We only used the car twice during the one week we stayed because all the walks and cycle rides could be done from the house. Windermere station was only a short drive away so we could easily pick up family arriving from London. Weather wasn’t what we expected in early June - warm for the first couple of days then much cooler with rain for the rest of the week...

”Very impressed with the barn suitability and comfortness. Kev was a fantastic host with local knowledge and was very helpful. The hot tub was a lovely way to relax after a day of shopping and the weather was nice enough to enjoy a bbq. We would definately recommend Bellas Barn to enjoy a relaxing and comfortable time away.”
