”Liked having and using pool. didn't realize there would be a swimming lesson going on at same time. As this was a quick stop over on our way to Bar Harbor, it fit our needs. Since the room was on the street side it was a bit noisy even with fan running all the time. The room was clean and comfortable and we enjoyed the breakfast which was included. ”

”Really nice property and very helpful staff. Area around the hotel is pretty, with lots of places to sit and watch the geese. Rooms are okay--be sure to get a "suite" or a double, as the single rooms are very small. Bathing facilities are pretty rudimentary--could use a shower seat or a bathtub. "Breakfast" is weak coffee and orange or apple juice.”

”Our cabin was in a great spot backed up against high ground in a nicely wooded area. It was secluded & very quiet. Firewood was provided. Close proximity to hiking & Chester, CT with nice restaurants. The staff were proactive & very thoughtful.”

”Great staff. The front desk man quickly changed our room when my husband noted it would benoisy, being by the elevator and ice machine. He's a light sleeper, especially bothered by noise. The breakfast room attendent was the most attentive I've ever seen. Kept the eggs and sausages coming, piping hot, and wiped down the tables immediately. ”
