”What a great location! Located on the east end of the lake with a beautiful sunset view and the winds blowing in our screened in windows we got plenty of fresh air and lake views. The hospitality was top notch and the cabin was everything it needed to be. Simple accommodations but comfortable and clean. Jay and Lulu were the best hosts and daily made sure we had everything we needed!”

”Everything was great, we loved the place! Very cozy with lots of nice books and games (whole game room is 5-star). Hooks and nooks where you need them! Very safe staircases indoor and outdoor. Easy lake access, appreciated having puddle board and kayak. Boat was great, we used paddle board paddles. Enjoyed coffee on the front gazebo. Kids loved ninja course for swinging! ”We love Wilderness Wind so much! Summer is simply not complete without at least one visit here. The cabins are adorable, the company is wonderful and of course the scenery. ”A lovely lake home with a sauna to boot! Getting hot in the sauna and then jumping into the lake is so refreshing! Also spent time reading on the dock and on the big deck, overlooking the lake. If the weather is not great, there are plenty of great options nearby, including state parks and Ely is only 40 minutes away. Lastly, we really appreciated the water pressure in the shower ”

” Very remote and quiet. Not to far from Grand Rapids which is what I was looking for. We had our boat on the lake. We caught enough fish for a meal. The public boat landing is not great but it’s not any fault of the property it is what it is. We made it work. The kitchen was beautiful and up to date, all in all it was a great experience. The cabin fit the bill perfectly. ”
